Partner: 826DC
826DC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. They were our first partner, and we have worked on various projects with them over the last 4 years.
Project: Field Trip Zines, 2022
A series 16 page zines packaged into a fun box. Each zine features a story written by a young author during a field trip to 826DC headquarters and illustrated by a MICA student. We also made a video to teach kids how to make their own zine.
